Anticipation, exhiliration and just a little apprehension.
Come 2245 tomorrow, Jane, Marc, Fagan and I will have arrived in Bangkok and will possibly be either having our first Thai meal or checking out Suan Lom night market. According to Jasmine, the latter is a treasure trove of barang-barang, so I can't wait!
This might sound crazy but halfway through packing my stuff, I kinda wished we were off to some beach resort or something. We're not squeezing in a short beach trip (why didn't we???) this time we're in Bangkok so it's gonna be a 100% urban holiday. I don't quite know what to expect without the familiarity of sand and surf, but we'll find out won't we? :)
Did a last minute check on the hotel online and guess what - no pool! Guess our plans to swim every morning are busted. Dang. I predict a week worth of back-to-back workouts to lose the post-Bangkok flab. Lol. Let's hope we eat healthily.
