Baby, I Love your Way

Baby, I Love Your Way

Anyone watched Rock Star: INXS last Wednesday? Mig's piano rendition of Peter Frampton's Baby, I Love You Way was heartbreakingly moving. Man. Even the band agreed.
One of them said that he's usually busy thinking of what comments to give while watching the contestants perform every week, but as he was watching Mig's particular performance, he couldn't think of anything else except for how much he loves his wife.

For the curious, here are the lyrics - nothing as fantastic as the way Mig sang the song though.

Shadows grow so long before my eyes
And they're moving across the page
Suddenly the day turns into night
Far away from the city
But don't hesitate 'cuz your love won't wait

Ooh baby I love your way (everyday)
Wanna tell you I love your way
Wanna be with you night and day

Moon appears to shine and light the sky
With the help of some fireflies
I wonder how they have the power to shine, shine, shine
I can see them under the pine
But don't hesitate 'cuz your love won't wait
Ooh baby I love your way (everyday)
Wanna tell you I love your way
Wanna be with you night and day
But don't hesitate 'cuz your love won't wait

I can see the sunset in your eyes
Brown and grey and blue besides
Clouds are stalking islands in the sun
I wish I could buy one out of season
But don't hesitate 'cuz your love won't wait

Ooh baby I love your way (everyday)
Wanna tell you I love your way
Wanna be with you night and day
Ooh baby I love your way (everyday)
Wanna tell you I love your way
Wanna be with you night and day

Nobody's in the office 'cept for Ani and myself. We're blasting music for once, awesome! Haha.

It's been so hectic of late, I've decided to ditch my plan to get that top tonight for some r & r at home. Speaking of relaxing, Pat, Joyce and myself have signed up for yoga classes, organized by Sentosa of course. The first lesson's tomorrow at "by the calm waters" of the Ferry Terminal. Ommmmm. I'm finally getting a start on all my supposed fitness class plans. Been running and running of late to prep myself for this Sunday's Real Run. 5.5km might not sound intimidating to some, but it sure does to me! Yiling and I are not coveting to clinch any medals, just aiming to finish the run without stopping to walk.

Better go. Lots to do before lunch.
