Every trip is a journey of self-discovery - it either affirms or negates what you thought you knew or believed. I always thought I would prefer the tropical allure of an Asian beach to rolling green hills and cobbled streets; like I thought islands made better getaways than cities. I was proven wrong on both counts.

I've fallen absolutely in love with Australia, I can almost feel it inching Bali off my favourite destination in the world - and that has to mean something. And hey, turns out I'm not as bad with directions or with maps as I thought I was!
