Swing, swing, swing the spinning step, we'll take the trail marked on your father's map.
T (name has been changed to protect privacy) saw me in the afternoon, and the first thing he did was slap my arm and say, "Woman I dreamt of you last night!"
Me: Hahaha, I hope it wasn't RA.
T: Yes it was. -disappears into lecture theatre-
Bumped into him again after French and he told me of the most uncanny thing - I was wearing a yellow top and jeans in his dream (before it got RA that is) and that was exactly what I wore to school today! Freaky. I didn't quite want to hear a detailed version of his dream, but it apparently included a scene akin to Demi Moore in Striptease. Right. ROFL.
Visited the library with Marc and Marilyn earlier in the evening, hoping to get some inspiration for our critique papers. Well, we ended up shushing irritating juniors (come on, it's our last sem to exercise our superiority lol) and chatting in the cookbook section instead.
Marc: The way to a man's heart is really through his stomach.
Me: Will you marry me if I baked that? -pointing to a picture of an extremely elaborated cake-
Marc: Awwwww. So schweet. But you and me??? Hmmmm.
Me: Kidding la. I was just trying to illustrate the point that I will never be able to bake like that.
-Guffaws. Laughter. Cackles.- (So much for shushing the juniors huh.)
I thought that was pretty funny, at least it was at that time, lol. Borrowed some cookie book 'cos I felt the urge to bake. Berry cookies, or fudge brownies? Hmm. Let's see how I feel on Thursday. For all I know, French class might just rob me of my baking urge, though I don't quite see the point I'm driving at, haha!
My group meeting with Sentosa went really well yesterday, and I'm extremely excited to embark on the project!
Brought Cecilia, Edmund and Joe Ang to Blu Jaz for dinner post-meeting. I don't know if the place has lost its ambience, or if it was just me. Spent quite abit of the night going 'round the table, asking and answering questions. It was sorta like a prolonged session of the time at Subway where Ceci made a bunch of us crack our brains deciding on an object to represent ourselves.
I gave an extremely shallow answer then - a sarong skirt, simply because I like to wear them. To be perfectly honest, I wasn't quite comfortable going in-depth and baring my soul to a table of people I barely knew at that time.
"It struck me that everyone (myself included) took the questions pretty seriously; however whether everyone was intent on exposing the more sensitive side of them or taking care not to reveal too much about themselves, I wouldn't know."
This is taken off Ceci's blog entry on last night's Blu Jaz dinner.
That line made me think. I would say I'm the latter. As much as I wished to give thoughtful and reflective questions, many of my answers were taken off the top of my head. There was something (possibly lack of sleep) that made it hard for me to get in touch with my innermost thoughts last night.
I'm feeling very much awake and stress-free after last night's good sleep. Off to prep for tomorrow's meeting, which I'm looking forward to. :)
Countdown to Dubai: 5 days.
I'm starting to get excited, especially after the announcement that we don't have to be in our business wear was made. Lol.
