Sidewalks of Paris.
I've just been hit by a sudden urge to see this photo-journalism exhibition by globe-trotting Ricky Yeo at the Substation, and today's the last day. The gang's erractic class schedule makes them unlikely kakis, especially with today being CDS day. Let's hope Mich C. finishes her stuff on time, and off we will be able to go! Hah, this is what I get for always being so last-minute.
It's funny how I never appreciated the rustic charms of my neighbourhood till I took the time to truly explore and absorb. I had no idea there's a pop art furniture store just around the corner! Then again, it is only in the dead of the night that we have the anoymity to stick our faces into shop windows.
It was also yesterday that JA and I had the world's most expensive prata supper - a $50 parking fine for illegal parking. Oops. I'm still feeling kinda guilty, but all's good I hope.
I'm sleepy. I wasn't done with project emails till almost 3 in the morning (and this is just the first week of school), and up I was at 9 today for piano. Superwoman in the making? Hah! Off to the shower before zipping off to French class! Hopefully I'll see some familiar faces in there!
It just struck me that I'm flying off to Dubai next Sunday, and I am not prepared. At all. Time flies.
