Ain't it crazy how I fall, every time you call my name?

Ain't it crazy how I fall, every time you call my name?

"My girlfriend became my arch-enemy, my arch-enemy became my best friend, and my best friend became my girlfriend." I can't get this out of my head! It's taken off Sky High. :)

I haven't enjoyed a romantic comedy in the longest time. As easy as it is to be swept off my feet by the sheer sweetness, dwelling on the incredulously far-fetched scenes often takes the romance out of this idealistic genre. (Do you think you can really fall head over heels in love with someone you've met only once?? Lust maybe, haha!) Thus, I entered the cinema today completely prepared for a sugar overdose.

Just Like Heaven was alot of the fluff I had expected - scriptwriters attempting to saturate the 1.5 hours with as many love scenes possible, but don't we all know it is almost impossible to capture the essence of love in that short period of time? As much as I'd like to dismiss it as yet another fluffy chick flick, I gotta admit I was enraptured for that 1.5 hours. Somewhere in between, the realistic chick in me gave way to Ms. Idealistic and the tears flowed. Enough about it, I'm probably giving the show more justice than it deserves, lol.

First week of school's over. I'd forgotten all about the never-ending pressing deadlines and hectic hoo-haa these 6 months I was away. Welcome back Leigh.

Is anyone as scared of calculus as I am? I almost died attempting the tutorial questions, haha. But no, I refuse to drop it.

I feel like I've got so many things to prepare! I gotta pack my gym gear, pack my change of clothes (which can't be sloppy 'cos we're meeting Sentosa tomorrow), pack this.. pack that. Tsk. I'm feeling cranky already.

Off to bed in abit. I gotta be in school by 9 to submit that dreaded individual report (which means I have to be up at 630), and then waste four hours waiting for my next class (that's where the gym comes in handy). It's times like these that I wish I had a magic carpet. Whoosh.
