The thing about women...
My brain's kinda oversaturated from all the tv I've been watching today. I am so your typical reality show viewer - the drama on America's Next Top Model had me glued to the telly I forgot I was online! Quite a bummer that Kym (or is it Kim?) got ousted. I liked her quirkiness and I thought the fact that she was so open about her sexuality kinda gave a real spin to the show, not just pretty faces and lanky limbs you know.
The editor of 8-days came across as such a momma's boy in A Light Affair! I would have never matched him to the Tommy Wee peppered across the magazine's pages! He was subtle.. awkward even! So not bitchy or aggressive like how I'd always imagined editors to me. There's hope for me afterall huh? (To be an editor, not his beau.)
Caught up with Jem over lunch (finally I get to dine at Food Republic away from the weekend crowds), a little shopping (his, not mine for I'll have my work cut out for me in Bangkok) and Starbucks coffee. Good coffee always makes my day.
I picked up Six Reasons To Stay A Virgin from the library recently and I've been so self-conscious each time I take it out to read in public! No, it isn't some self-help book preaching about the virtues of virginity... it's a NOVEL and a darn good one at that! So good that I risk those curious stares each and every time.
Meeting Marc the bear for a swim tomorrow before we drag ourselves for American Idol and our last night at home till we return from Bangkok. Barely two days till we arrive in the land of smiles. I hope the street protesting against Thaksin doesn't get outta hand. Whatever it is, it'll be a chance to experience and learn. Night world. :)
