Why friendships are priceless.

Why friendships are priceless.

picture from here

Cristina: [to Lexie] You can't have feelings for Alex Karev. Emotionally he's like Meredith, three years ago.
Meredith: I said that!

Cristina: [to Lexie]: You are not a no feelings type of girl. Your heart lives in your vagina.
Meredith: I said that too!

Reminds me of us, bitch!

Grey.

Grey.

I had several depressing Grey’s Anatomy type inspirations as I tried to come up with a title for this post. I could imagine Meredith holding her heart in her hand, watching it in morbid fascination as her chest bled out. I could probably draw a dozen parallels to the drama right now, actually.

Like how D's haunting I with his presence, and M’s mother before death.

I can’t seem to make sense of the prancing thoughts monopolizing my head. I am just very thankful for the girlfriends who have offered to get me drunk, and the several “my person”s I am blessed with.

Are you as disturbed as I am by the sheer dark and twisty-ness of this entry?

Scrub in???

Scrub it???
music: justin timberlake - my love

Caught a bit of one of Alicia Key's live performances on MTV. Boy is she good. And I just saw the mtv for The Feeling's Love It When You Call. I don't know why I'm getting all excited. Do you see this Jem?????

Yep, you guessed it, I'm taking a break. I've only got time for another episode before I gotta get dressed for the birthday. I almost said scrub in. I almost said scrub in. What's Grey's doing to me?

music: jem - flying high

Taking a break from my Grey's Anatomy marathon. The show leaves me with a weird mix of emotions, and each time I pause, I try to write about it to make sense of it all. That explains these short periodic posts. But, I've decided I like the abstractness of the mix, and I like keeping it to myself.

Grey's was really disturbing yesterday. That particular two episodes had my imagination all fired up, and I was gripped by this sudden fear. I got scared, and I freaked out. Not exactly the smartest thing to do in the middle of the night with only the howling dogs downstairs for company.

This Saturday feels different. I feel different. Light. Carefree. Alive. I think I'm right where I want to be. :)
