It happened all too suddenly. Firefox hung, as did Flock. But unlike the many times in the past where the system restarted, mine never did. All I had was a blinking "?" folder sign mocking me.
Still, I guess I should be pretty glad that my Macbook lasted me this long despite the rubbish I'd subjected it to. I've burned a hole in my dad's pocket and am now wired up with the new Macbook. No more copying and pasting my "i"s!
But of course, the Bintan pictures which I've uploaded before the crash are gone, until I get around to finding a reasonable retrieval service. Pity, for it was one awesome holiday and the hotel was gorgeous. Argh.
