Back from Saigon, the city of motorcycles.
It wasn't the best of trips, as already anticipated. While I wasn't exactly chuffed about my time in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), I immensely enjoyed the trip out to the Mekong Delta. There was a rustic charm about it that I may even have fallen in love with, should I have had the leeway to explore the place on my own. Not to mention the many cafes in the nooks and crannies of Saigon I'd have loved to try, instead of upmarket Cantonese fare. It wasn't bad, but I was pretty disappointed we didn't try any French food. How can one not have French food when in Vietnam? Incomprehensible.
I'll do up my travel entry another time. Gotta be up at 8 for the beach!
